Welcome to the 100th post on Beglance. If you are new here, you might be confused.
Most productivity blogs tell you to wake up at 4:00 AM, drink kale smoothies, and work 12 hours a day. However, that is a recipe for burnout, not success.
We believe in being “Lazy Smart.”
This isn’t about doing nothing. It is about doing the right things so you have time to relax. Here are the 10 Commandments of the Lazy Smart life.

1. If It Takes 2 Minutes You Must Do It Now
Never write down a task that takes 120 seconds. Wash the dish. Send the text. Clear the clutter. If you do it now, you don’t have to think about it later.
2. Done Is Always Better Than Perfect
Perfectionism is just procrastination in a fancy suit. Do a bad job. Write a messy draft. A finished C+ project is infinitely more valuable than an unfinished A+ project.
3. Your Inbox Is Not Your To Do List
Stop letting other people dictate your day. Unsubscribe ruthlessly. Check email twice a day, not every 5 minutes. Protect your attention.
4. Sleep Is a Productivity Tool
You cannot hack your biology. If you sleep 4 hours, your IQ drops. If you want to get more done in less time, prioritize the 10-3-2-1 sleep rule.
5. Single Tasking Is the New Multitasking
Doing two things at once means doing both of them poorly. Close the tabs. Put the phone away. Do one thing, finish it, and then stop.

6. You Must Say No to Good Things
You don’t just have to say no to bad ideas; you have to say no to good ideas that you don’t have time for. If it’s not a “Hell Yes,” it’s a “No.”
7. Use the 5 Second Rule to Move
Stop arguing with yourself. When you know you need to move, count 5-4-3-2-1 and go. Don’t give your brain time to make excuses.
8. Touch It Once to End Clutter
Don’t put the mail on the table to deal with later. Open it, pay it, or trash it. Never clean the same mess twice.
9. Write It Down to Clear Your Mind
Your brain is for having ideas, not holding them. Write everything down. Clear your mental RAM so you can relax.
10. Embrace the Joy of Missing Out
You don’t need to be at every party. You don’t need to know every trend. There is peace in missing out. Stay home. Do nothing. Enjoy it.
Conclusion
Being busy is not a badge of honor.
So, take a breath. Look at your to-do list and delete half of it. Welcome to the lazy life.

Tell me in the comments: Which of these 10 rules do you need the most right now?
